A new venture studio, SuperLayer, aims to become a preeminent Web3 launching pad

There’s a new venture studio in the world that looks rather different from earlier venture studios from a structural standpoint. Unlike renowned outfits like Atomic or Science or Expa that create companies that then sell equity to VCs who expect that equity to rise in value, this new studio, SuperLayer, plans to spin up consumer projects then instead of sell equity to VCs, it will invite the communities that use these products that invest in them by acquiring tokens, which can then be bought or sold or used to participate in other projects. Indeed, in the case of SuperLayer, the tokens might all look a bit different, but they will all be tied to a blockchain network called Rally that SuperLayer’s founders created earlier and want to help popularize by creating more interesting apps atop it. https://voyage-rp.com/showthread.php?tid=2529 https://plainnuts.com/showthread.php?tid=331679 https://cc.adventist.org/forums/business/showthread.php?tid=119665 https://audiosellerz.com/forums/show

Freshly launched Span Drive continues Span’s mission to smarten up your home

Gone are the days when your A/C and washer/dryer were the movers and shakers (electrically speaking) in your house. These days, electric vehicle chargers, solar power and battery storage solutions set more electrons a-dancin’. Span is one of the companies running point on adding some smarts to the process. The company today launched the Span Drive, an EV charger that is making it possible to further empower your EV based on various rules. Our homes are becoming more and more electrified, and modern units, in particular, can have power draws that homes of an older design don’t have. A/C and heating, heat pumps, water heaters, washers and dryers, induction cooktops, electric ovens, EV chargers and battery-based electrical storage can draw tremendous amounts of power. In addition, more and more homes have solar installed, which means a huge chunk of electricity going in the other direction. Between all of this, our homes are getting more complex and power-hungry, but the truth is that no

The US infrastructure bill is a huge opportunity. Let’s not waste it

The $1 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill and President Joe Biden’s larger domestic policy package garnered national interest because of the bipartisan struggles and brief periods of unity for the United States. Now, in the passed legislation, there is $100 million earmarked over five years to “accelerate the deployment of digital construction technologies such as 3D modeling software and digital project management platforms,” thanks to the Coalition for Smarter Infrastructure Investments. “President Biden believes we must produce, here at home, the technologies and goods that meet today’s challenges and seize tomorrow’s opportunities,” the White House said in a fact sheet. http://ylbbs.optolong.com/showthread.php?tid=2891 https://trollden.com/showthread.php?tid=8867 https://openttd.trusty.network/showthread.php?tid=5455 https://cc.adventist.org/forums/business/showthread.php?tid=139459&pid=155755 https://www.chillforums.com/showthread.php?tid=12209 http://mtunes.ga/showthrea

Bridging the gap: What CISOs must do to get the C-suite on their side

very CISO must face a cold, hard fact: You might not have a seat at the boardroom table or the executive leadership team meeting. At some organizations, this relatively new role doesn’t get C-level attention yet, and at others, the organizational structure can prevent you from ever getting a permanent seat at the table. Other complexities arise if you report to a CIO or CTO and feel muted by the hierarchy. Or, perhaps your message is diluted by the time it gets up the chain of command. http://forum.lizzardco.com/showthread.php?tid=3323 https://www.chillforums.com/showthread.php?tid=5455 http://www.ttl.co-re.de/forum/showthread.php?tid=69373 https://tvrdb.com/jam/forum/showthread.php?tid=8943 https://id4owners.com/showthread.php?tid=28200 http://marvid.biz/showthread.php?tid=3564 https://darkforums.net/Thread-82945g http://ocrc.x10host.com/showthread.php?tid=276989 https://www.stocksmessageboards.com/showthread.php?tid=90668 https://chelseabb.com/showthread.php?tid=2121 https://trollde

Routine is a new productivity app that combines task management and notes

Meet Routine, a new startup working on a productivity tool that should help you manage your work day more efficiently. It’s a brand new take on to-do lists as it combines both tasks, non-actionable notes and a daily planner. The two co-founders of Routine are Julien Quintard and Quentin Hocquet, two French entrepreneurs who previously created Infinit, a startup I covered several times. Docker acquired Infinit back in 2016. They are teaming up once again to create Routine. Right now, Routine is an app for macOS and iOS that works with your Google account. After setting up your account, Routine helps you figure out “what am I supposed to do right now?” at any point in time. http://www.ttl.co-re.de/forum/showthread.php?tid=44868 https://therockandduckshow.net/showthread.php?tid=10890 https://appginideveloper.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=44557 https://audiosellerz.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=164751 https://chelseabb.com/showthread.php?tid=2877 https://kamera.al/showthread.php?tid=51623
